This whole time waiting to get home...
My luggage was securely waiting for me back in Portland.
Never left Oregon, not even once; not to come to Denver and definitely not to come to Iowa.
At least I don't have to unpack.

oh anne.... i'm so sorry. i bet you are glad to be home. hopefully your trip was better than these last couple of days... i wish i would have known you were in denver! i have a bunch of family there who would have surely picked you up and taken you in. one really rich aunt is always just looking for stuff to do like that! bummer!!! anyway, i can't wait to hear all about your meeting... can't wait to see pictures.
I hope that the airline ended up giving you something to make up for that nonsense.

Anne,
That sucks but it's been really great to stay up to date with your adventures!

Wow. what an experience you've had. Way to make it through!
ouch, that's rough - at least the airline knows where your luggage is so you'll probably (eventually) get it back.
Just last night I heard on the radio that on average one passenger on every single flight has their bags lost. Most are found and returned within a few days, but some people never hear from their luggage again.
Sounds like you had an interesting time!
wow that SUCKS! but you got some great material out of the whole situation! :)
baggage. seems we all got it. but doesn't it feel sort of good to arrive home "baggage free?" just curious.
All told, as you said: at least you didn't have to unpack. Geesh!
I hate when that happens. I hope you are feeling better now.
