be who

Is this what your twenties are suppose to feel like?

Is figuring out who I am and what I want suppose to be so hard?

Basically all I want to do and be is happy.

Not confused.
Not overwelmed.
Not worried.

I am afraid that I will never be who I want to be...what if I just can't get it together?

Then what?

Duh. Life.

Does anyone ever get-it-together?

Just be who you are, try your best, and everything will work itself out.

Reach for what you want and be who you want.

I think that as long as we keep dreaming and keep plugging on forward, we are bound to get where we are going and maybe feeling lost is just a natural state. I am trying to learn to embrace it.

Anne,
I think I had that conversation with myself about two years ago. Then I made the scary decision to quit my job, get a new one, go back to school, change my career and have a baby. It is working out so far, but still scares me. I think that is what the twenties are all about, finding out who we are and what we want to do -- even if it means turning around and starting over. You'll find yourself, you always do.

Sounds very familiar. We've all been there. I'm still there so we know we aren't alone!

I am right there with you Anne. Right there. I just try to take it one day -- one minute! -- at a time. It's not always easy.
